The knives mounted on the wall have excellent ventilation, so they are perfect for carbon steel. Easy access and an exposed blade (very helpful in the case of knives from one collection) ensure great organization of work. Storing knives on a magnetic strip is also safe for themselves, preventing them from being damaged or blunted by other objects. Remember to install the skirting board as far as possible from the cooker / induction hob, protecting it from steam and any moisture. The strip is not a solution for us if we use ceramic knives. The advantage of the slat over the block is also the lack of limitation in the form of the width and thickness of the groove, it gives us complete freedom in the organization of knives or even other tools.
