Hinoukuni is one of the youngest blacsmiths from Kumamoto. He was born in 1990 and he learned the blacksmith's craft from Nishida Hamono Koubou, because he wanted to work on his favorite knives. He has also won numerous awards in competitions.
The knives are made of high quality Shirogami # 1 steel with ardness of 62-63 HRC, enveloped by iron.
