Kenshiro Hatono is one of the youngest blacksmiths in Japan. He was born on January 6, 1989 in the town of Awara. After graduating, he tried his hand at work as a teacher, but his original dream of becoming a blacksmith has won and now we can enjoy his knives. Hatono is one of the few to make handles from Japanese paper, which is later covered with varnish. This process makes each model that comes out from under his hammer unique.

He gained his experience under the supervision of master Katsuyasu Kamo, the Kamo generation has been forging knives for 2 generations. However, he does not make kitchen knives very often, he releases his knives in small series and often does not make knives from the same materials. Which makes them even more unique.
